INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT GIVE TORQUE SPECS, AND ALSO DO NO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT SOME THINGS THAT ARE IN THE WAY OF THE HTCH GOING IN (I.E THE KICK SENSOR ADAPTER BLANK PLUG-IN) AS FOR THE KICK SENSOR, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO REMOVE THE BUMPER AND GET A HONDA KICK SENSOR ADAPTER TO BE ABLE TO KEEP THIS FEATURE. THERE IS NO WAY AROUND THIS. ALSO,IF YOU HAVE A 1.5L, YOU'LL NEED TO DROP THE EXHAUST AS THERE IS NO WAY TO INSTALL THIS WITHOUT REMOVING IT. THIS TAKES A PRO 45 MINUTES SO A PERSON WHO HAS NEVER TOUCHED A WRENCH COULD TAKE MINIMUM 3 HOURS.

2024 Cr v sport touring hybrid. Got fit confirmation from your product info dept.Bought hitch from etrailer. Quick delivery actually next.day. Well built quality hitch instructions less than ideal: fascia cut out dimensions too small needs to be 3.25 even 3.5 to make positioning easier, pictures blurry, no mention of tucking up into fascia, no mention of moving or adapting tailgate foot sensor. I found sensor adapting info from a blog and competitors website...it still fully functions on either side with a kick rather than a wave of the foot. Took about 4 hours...extra time enlarging fascia and underbody shield cuts and likely 11/2-2 hours web browsing to get clarification and tips. A installation video or more detailed instructions would be extremely helpful.

This is a well built hitch. Came faster than expected, and in great shape. I suggest you allow at least a couple of hours for install. The pictures are a bit dark, making it hard to see detail. That caused me trouble in telling where to measure from. I held it up with a jack and traced around it. It is a nice product though.

Really like Curt's hitches with the big bar hidden behind the bumper. Like others have mentioned, the hitch does not line up perfectly. Mine interfered with the spare tire well on the passenger side. I had to expand the holes on the passenger side and muscle it into place. Would be good fit if the entire arm can be made 1/4" wider. Template for the plastic cut-outs are not exact, recommend you do your own measurements. Took me about 2.5 hours with initial mount, take off, drill and remount.

Overall, pleased with the hitch. Had it professionally installed so can't comment on ease of installation. I agree with the other reviewer that noted that the power tailgate foot sensor no longer works. One star off for that.

Installed today on 2020 CRV. Installation was as expected and as usual with a few issues. First, thich must have been droppen in shipment and the bolt holes didn't line up. Had to get a jack out and expand width between ends by about 1/2 inch-lined up perfectly after that. Bolted everything up and found tab for bumper that plastic pin went into had bent up when installing hitch. Had to remove, straighten tab and reinstall. Not bad though 2 hours total for install. Just be sure to check the tabs for the bumper pins as they bend easily when you push the hitch up over the bumper. Looks great when finished-barely shows at all. Highly recommend.

I bought this for mounting a bike rack to my 2019 Honda CRV. It is a very nice design and well built. It is mostly hidden under the vehicle with only the 2" receiver showing. I would like to mention that the dimensions for cutting the fascia were a bit off of what the directions say. The .625" should be .375" and the 3.000" should be 3.250". This is relative to the position of the factory vehicle recovery hook.

Looking on other sites around installation tips I have found that hitch interferes with operation of power lift gate foot sensor. Foot sensor must be relocated for operation to one side or other. Wiring harness kit for relocation is not simple to install. This problem should be noted in the product description
