Basket Cargo Carrier #18131

This is by far the sturdiest rack out there. I have used several and this one doesn't dip or sat with weight. I have had a ton of weight on it and it doesn't bounce or shift. It's pretty heavy, but easy to slide into the hitch. The tilt up feature is great. Easy one pin removal to rotate the cage up. Only downfall is that when it's down it stick out a little further from the bumper than others. But it allows you to access the trunk as well, a plus and a minus. I have it on my 4runner and it works great.

This basket holds my 165 quart cooler with ease and still has plenty of room for other cargo. The folding feature is a big plus. It is well made, sturdy, and was relatively easy to assemble. I thought it would be too big for my Subaru Outback, but it works well on the vehicle. Keep in mind that this has a 2 in. connection. My hitch is 1.25 inches so I needed to buy the CURT 1 1/4 to 2 inch adapter. Everything worked perfectly. My Subaru is now equipped with a CURT hitch and CURT basket. I am impressed with the quality and workmanship of all CURT products.

I researched a bunch of cargo baskets for my 2012 Kia Sorento. This one had great reviews so I purchased it! I received it in about 4 days, box in perfect condition. Installed super easy into hitch. Very sturdy. I also purchased a cargo bag that fits easily in basket. I fit 2 large suitcases, golf clubs and a few duffel bags. 100% Happy!

Nice and solid piece of equipment. Went together easy and the option to flip it up when not hauling is nice as well. I have a 2006 Tahoe and it's just narrow enough for others to see my tail lights which is nice. Also bought the bag and the bungee mesh net and it works pretty sweet as well.
