CURT custom wiring provides everything you need to connect your vehicle's electrical system to a trailer. With plug-and-play connectors, a custom wiring harness easily integrates with your vehicle taillights to provide a standard trailer wiring connector, typically in the form of a 4-way flat.
This custom wiring harness features a vehicle-specific design to perfectly fit certain years of the Honda Accord with LED taillights (to verify vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide or use the Vehicle Lookup on the CURT website). It uses OEM-compatible connectors to "T" into the vehicle's taillight assembly and provides a standard 4-way flat output to power the taillights, brake lights and turn signals on your trailer.
To complete this custom wiring harness, it comes with a rubber dust cover. This cover keeps the connection points clean and well protected when the connector is not in use. Once installed, the connector can also be conveniently mounted on the vehicle's trailer hitch receiver tube, using a CURT Easy-Mount connector bracket. The bracket mounts onto the trailer hitch with no drilling required, and its powder-coated steel construction provides a solid attachment point for plugging in the trailer wiring.

Instead of running wire under car to battery because I only, on rare occasions, tow a trailer, I did the following:
1 checked specs on car for aux port, it runs 12 volts and supports 180 watts and is protected by 20 amp fuse.
2 purchased a 12 foot aux power adapter, cigarette style, changed the internal fuse from 15 amp to 10 amp. Still wired in the additional 10 amp blade fuse with the kit.
3 whenever I need to tow a trailer I plug in the adaptor and away i go.
The only caveat and easily surmounted
Aux power port, like the radio, is not live when the car is not on, this means that 4 way flashes only work if you put your car in auxiliary mode.
This saved me a lot of unnecessary hassle.

It is not plug and play, you need to run a black wire to the battery and this takes a little time, but not bad. It took me about 30 min for the install on my 2014 honda accord.
