Combining the proven A16 hitch head with the S20 slider, it delivers the control and confidence needed for everything from weekend camping trips to cross-country adventures. At the heart of the A16 is a fully articulating torsion head engineered to promote stable towing and controlled coupling. A cast yoke with integrated poly-torsion inserts helps absorb shock loads, dampen vibration and reduce noise for a smoother towing experience. High-strength interlocking jaws wrap fully around the kingpin to create a secure connection while helping minimize rattling and unwanted movement between truck and trailer. Hookup is made easier with an extra-wide head opening that helps guide the kingpin into position. Once uncoupled, the lockable handle automatically resets to the ready-to-couple position, streamlining the hitching process for your next trip. A three-position coupling indicator provides a clear visual reference of coupling status for added confidence before towing. The included S20 slider provides up to 12 inches of rearward travel, helping improve trailer-to-cab clearance when maneuvering a short-bed truck. Adjustable anchors create a tighter fit between the hitch and mounting system to help reduce chucking and movement during towing. Convenience is built into every aspect of the design.
