Making memories doesn't start when you reach your destination; it starts at the very first mile of your journey. Wherever your road begins and wherever it takes you, Bring It® with the power of CURT.
CURT custom wiring provides everything you need to connect your vehicle's electrical system to a trailer. With a plug-and-play connector, a custom wiring connector easily integrates with your vehicle to provide a standard trailer wiring connector, typically in the form of a 4-way flat.
This custom wiring connector features a vehicle-specific design to perfectly fit certain years of the Nissan Frontier, Pathfinder, Xterra and Suzuki Equator (to verify vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide or use the Vehicle Lookup). It uses an OEM-compatible connector to plug into the vehicle's OEM socket and provides a standard 7-way RV blade output to power the taillights, brake lights, turn signals, trailer brakes, auxiliary and other electrical functions on your trailer.
To complete this custom wiring connector, it comes with a spring-loaded dust cover. This cover keeps the connection points clean and well protected when the connector is not in use. Once installed, the connector can also be conveniently mounted on the vehicle's trailer hitch receiver tube, using a CURT Easy-Mount connector bracket. The bracket mounts onto the trailer hitch with no drilling required, and its powder-coated steel construction provides a solid attachment point for plugging in the trailer wiring.

I like Curt products. Durable, well made, and with great instructions, I give 5/5 for most everything I've used. For the most part I find what I need, but this situation, as it pertains to a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder is a little tricky and you might want to know about it.
Not all 2010 Nissan's have the same towing package and OEM wiring or so it seems. Now I haven't been able to get any mechanic friends who have this level of Nissan service history detail to collab, but my bought used Pathfinder has the Towing packing with the 4 pin flat connector. I'm to be honest, not sure if this was bought aftermarket or not, but I was told it was supposedly sold new with a/the towing package. It however does not have the 6 pin waterproof connector as this kit has. It has an identical 8 pin connector instead that carries 5 signals (connection C51 to C125) for an installed official Nissan 7 pin or 4 signals for the flat 4 pin (connection C50 to C124) which is illustrated on the official service manual. I believe the difference is because of which sub harness is installed coming from connector E41 to C1 located in the rear drivers side of the vehicle. This information is from the service manual for a 2010 Pathfinder as well as looking at the vehicle.
TLDR; I know. My point is before you buy this part, do yourself a solid, and crawl under the driver's side rear of your 2010ish Path/front/mada and confirm you do have the gray 6-pin waterproof connector and not the gray 8 pin.
Also, Curt people, can we please specify what you mean by OEM in detail for the context of this part so others won't buy this part and only to be confused?
Thanks.
