This CURT hitch-mounted tow hook offers a solid attachment point for the CURT vehicle recovery strap #83066 or similar tow strap. It is made with a hollow steel shank and is rated for 10,000 lbs. straight-line pull / gross trailer weight. For long-lasting reliability, this CURT specialty ball mount comes finished in our gloss black powder coating. This provides the corrosion, scratch and UV resistance needed to survive anything you throw its way.

During a recover of a small suv one of the bolts snapped right clean half in two and clubbed my brother dennis in the head. heck it goth the suv out of the woods alright. id do it again.
