    Works...

Hitch noise when starting and stopping was driving me nuts. Saw these pads on line and decided to give them a shot. Easy to install and worked like a charm. Took a 3000+ mile trip from Nor Cal to Denver and back, up and down more then one hill, and was totally satisfied. Pads were worn to the point of replacement when I returned but for less then a gallon of diesel I just replaced them. These will always be a part of my pretrip check list.
    I pull a 12,000 lb GVW trailer with a Curt Q16.

    Works great

Purchased these for a 2000 mile camping trip from Seattle to San Diego. The "clunks" that are normally present when starting or stopping went away, providing for a better towing experience. They do make your hitch fit tighter on your rails, but it was easy to install though, I just stood on each leg of the hitch when I inserted the pin. After about 1500 miles, the clunk started coming back as the pads were squished, and after we arrived in San Diego, one of the pads had come out (they must take quite a bit of abuse). For $5/set, I think it's well worth the cost as normally I'd probably use one or two sets a year. I used these on a Curt Q5 hitch.
