When you purchase a 5th wheel trailer hitch, you expect it to be capable of towing your RV, flatbed or whatever other 5th wheel trailer you own. While a 5th wheel hitch does offer an impressive amount of towing strength, it cannot get far without the proper installation equipment. Engineered for specific makes and models, CURT custom 5th wheel brackets provide the ideal solution for complementing the power of your 5th wheel trailer hitch.
A custom 5th wheel bracket features a shape that contours to the frame of your truck and uses pre-drilled holes in the frame wherever possible to make installation quick and easy. Depending on your model of pickup truck, they also reduce or eliminate the need for drilling. These particular custom 5th wheel brackets offer a custom fit for certain model years of the Toyota Tundra, 6.5' Bed (except extended crew cab) (see application info to verify fitment).
Finished in a durable liquid A-coat, CURT custom 5th wheel brackets are made to last. They include all necessary mounting hardware and are designed to be used in conjunction with CURT industry-standard 5th wheel base rails #16104 or #16204 (base rails sold separately).

I used these on my crewmax. Everything fit perfectly just as if i wouldve had 6.5 ft bed, mines 5.5. Did not need the brake booster box bracket provided on my truck (2015 4x4 crewmax)…Only have to bore out 2 existing holes for front brackets and if you prefer drill one on other side( you will need 5/8 bit ( big) pre drill a couple of times. It says loosen bumper bolts all but last ones on each side for backs, however, you have to take them all off (use a jack to support and a buddy to pry out on existing bumper brackets and the back brackets included with the kit slide right in and you can reuse those existing holes and bolts. I used the recommended mesurement to set the rail in bed before drilling down into bed and bracket hole. Leave it all loose until the end. Took me about 4 hours. I use these rails to haul a goosneck flatbed and cattle trailer, barely fits infront of my rawson koenig tool box (big), but fits easily wt gooseneck wt say a tsc box, I switched my ball plate around where the slightly longer end is toward tailgate not the cab, gave me the perfect amount of room wt my big tool box in…Hauled a load of 5x6 roundbales (heavy) the other day and it road good. If you were to use 5th wheel hitch wt my crewmax u would most certainly have to take out the toolbox and possibly have some sort of slider hitch.
