This is terrific buy. The quality is excellent and the difference between the Curt and Reese is negligible. In fact the Curt is rated higher in towing weight and the locking system is better. The locking bar is spring loaded and held in place buy a bar that retracts as you slide into the head. When the king pin is the proper distance into the hitch the locking bar automatically springs into the locking position so you know you are in the proper position. You don't even have to leave your truck. The same goes for disconnecting. If you are not in the proper position to release, the bar won't open. When your king pin is truly free from the head and bar the locking bar handles pulls very easily and locks into the open the position. This by far is super easy to use and align. If you want to remove the head it is easy. The base and head are separate pieces so you can take them apart with just a pull of 2 pins. Cuts the weight and bulkiness in half so one person can easily remove or install the unit. Why pay more for 15K when you can get 16K for less and have equal quality if not better than the more expense heads out there. These heads will also fit any competitor's rail system that are built to industry standards.
