Each CURT class 3 hitch is engineered to fit on a specific vehicle. This provides the best possible fit and easiest installation. This particular custom class 3 hitch fits specific years of the Honda CR-V (to verify vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide or use the Vehicle Lookup tool). It is designed to integrate with the vehicle's existing features and offer a reliable connection to your trailer.
This Honda CR-V hitch is stringently tested in accordance with SAE J684 to ensure a weight carrying capacity of 3,500 lbs. GTW and 350 lbs. TW. It also features a 2" receiver tube opening to accept ball mount or other hitch accessory with a 2" x 2" shank.
From class 1 to class 5, all CURT custom-fit receiver hitches are made in the USA to ensure quality from design to finish (may include imported hardware). They are designed with hands-on engineering for a precise fit. They are welded using a combination of manual and robotic operations for speed and accuracy. Finally, they are finished with our unique co-curing process. Each hitch is dipped in a liquid A-coat for rust prevention, inside and out, and then co-cured in a durable black powder coat finish for maximum rust, chip and UV resistance.

I live in Erie PA and have had this hitch for 4 years.
It is well built and works well in every way. However the powder coating has peeled off on approximately 85 % of the surface and severe corrosion has resulted. My CRV has no other corrosion. I have removed the hitch to blast, phosphate dip and paint it properly. I have blasted to SSPC-SP6 and found severe pitting. I will blast to SP 10 and finish recoating this weekend. Love the hitch but the finish has resulted in a poor product. -
The hitch for my wife's 2008 CR-V arrived in two days! The packaging was excellent and the instructions were simple and easy. I used a modified copper-tubing brush to clean out the bolt holes; that being the most difficult part of the whole installation. Make sure you have a small-diameter wire brush and some WD-40 or similar. Thanks for a well-built, well-fitting product!!

I bought a hitch #13555 for my 2009 Honda CRV. I put it on myself in a little under an hour, with very little problems. The instructions were great.

The hitch lined up perfectly. I installed the hitch and wiring in about 45 minutes by myself using only a ratchet, three sockets, and a torque wrench. This is a great product as is the wiring kit.

( Done one year ago) I am handy but this was too easy. I recomend wd40 for the exhaust hanger and a helper to support the hitch. I'm in Canada and delivery was in two days. All in all I'm a happy camper.

This is a great, heavy-duty hitch and an easy to install t-connector. I'm 60 and never installed a hitch or wiring, but the instructional videos helped considerably. I worked alone, without jacking up our CR-V. It took less than half an hour for the connector. I recommend using a ball or something similar to keep the side panel wedged far enough away from the car so you can work down inside with both hands. (The power plug moves with the panel.) The hitch took longer because the wire brush I used to clean out the holes in the frame didn't do the job. I had to stop in the middle, remove the partially installed hitch, and go to the hardware store for a 10mm fine thread tap to remove six plus years of corrosion. After that, the install went off without a hitch, so to speak, and the hitch fit perfectly.

This hitch fits perfect on my 2007 CRV. Only took 25 minutes to install. Make sure you screw in the four bolts first before the final installation to make it easier on you.

I just installed a CURT #13555 hitch on my 2011 Honda CR-V. The fit was perfect; I say again the fit was perfect!! I installed the hitch by myself using a jack and a couple of jack stands. I am 75 years old and have installed trailer hitches before that were not as easy as your hitch because all the holes never lined up. Thank you for a great product! Also a good looking product. A happy customer!!!!!
