Tow Mirror

In many towing situations, visibility can be a problem. A deluxe RV, an extra tall livestock trailer or any oversized load can increase blind spots and totally block the use of your rearview mirror. Maneuvers like changing lanes, turning and backing up can become even more difficult than they already are when towing a trailer. At CURT, we do not claim to know everything, but when it comes to towing, we come pretty darn close.

The CURT extended view tow mirror does just what its name suggests: extends your view while towing. Mounted on your side mirror, the tow mirror instantly adds 5 to 7 1/2” to your mirror, opening up the view behind your vehicle and minimizing blind spots. Also, because the tow mirror is fully adjustable, it does not merely make your side mirror larger, but it pivots, angles and rotates to give you the perfect view you need to see around that extra-large load.

The CURT tow mirror is extremely versatile, able to mount onto any mirror between 4 and 11” tall. This makes it a useful attachment for most vans, trucks and SUVs as well as other vehicles if needed. Because of the extended view tow mirror’s versatile design and fully articulating head, it can be used on either the driver side or passenger side, whichever is more useful for your towing setup. It can also be positioned vertically or horizontally. Installation of this attachable mirror is simple. The adjustable, stretchable straps can be opened to the appropriate size for your vehicle’s side mirror, and then placed over the top and bottom of the side mirror using the hinging arms. The stretchy straps and wide brackets keep the extra mirror firmly mounted on your vehicle’s side mirror during travel. When it is time to remove the mirror again, the straps feature easy-to-remove clips that unhooks from one of the mirror’s arms, eliminating the need to loosen the straps every time.

For added visibility and safety while towing, the CURT extended view tow mirror is a lifesaver.
